A Place with History
The Gull Harbour Lighthouse (1898) and Gull Harbour Marina on Hecla Island
are located within some of the most scenic waters of Lake Winnipeg.
In 2017, the property was acquired by new ownership and has undergone extensive renovations
to its facilities. Gull Harbour Marina is home to a modern, full-service marina, yacht
provisioning and yacht charter services, boutique inn, 120-seat restaurant and retail store.
When it was established at the turn of the century, the Gull Harbour lighthouse was vital
to navigation through the narrows of Lake Winnipeg. The lighthouse supported the expanding
economy of Hecla Island and Lake Winnipeg by helping ensure safe and efficient passage for
fishing and commercial traffic.
Whether your passion is sailing, paddling or powerboating, the vast expanses of Lake Winnipeg
and surrounding islands beckon you from the tranquility of Gull Harbour.
Our renovated grounds offer white sand beaches, nature trails and an abundance of Manitoba
wildlife to enjoy.

25–100 guests may include 3–5 courses.

Cash Bar
Guests purchase drinks individually. We stock selected products and can customize
offerings with advance notice. Cost is based on current restaurant and bar menu pricing.
Host Bar
The event host covers total beverage consumption. Signature cocktails and specialty
drink options are available with advance notice.
Estimated consumption may be calculated during the planning process, with the final
amount based on actual beverages served at the event.

- The event organizer is responsible for guest conduct and any damages.
- All liquor service must comply with Manitoba LGCA regulations.

and the terms contained in the final event agreement. -
